Pause, archive, or delete campaigns

Choose the right campaign lifecycle action without losing useful history.

Pause, archive, or delete campaigns#

Campaigns can be active, paused, archived, or deleted in limited cases.

Pause#

Pause a campaign when it may run again soon. Paused campaigns stay easy to find, but they should not be treated as currently active.

Archive#

Archive a campaign when it is finished but has useful history. This is the safest choice for real campaigns because it keeps past joins, purchases, spend, and attribution available.

Archived campaigns do not count as active campaigns for plan limits.

Delete#

Delete is for empty test campaigns or mistakes that have no meaningful history.

If a campaign has traffic, mappings, spend, or revenue, archive it instead. This protects reports and keeps older analytics understandable.
