Recalculate historical attribution

Use historical recalculation when you change attribution rules or add mappings that should affect existing results.

Updated 7/17/2026

Recalculate historical attribution#

Historical recalculation reapplies your current attribution settings to past activity.

When to use it#

Use recalculation after:

  • changing attribution model,
  • changing attribution window,
  • enabling or disabling direct or unknown replacement,
  • adding important hostname mappings after traffic already arrived,
  • importing older revenue.

What changes#

Campaign revenue, payer counts, and related campaign metrics may change. This is the point: Joinometry is re-reading past activity with your current rules.

What does not change#

Recalculation does not invent traffic or purchases. It only changes how existing player activity and revenue are connected to campaigns.

What to expect#

Large organizations may take a little time to finish. If a page looks unchanged immediately, refresh after a moment and check again.
