What does Joinometry do?
Joinometry helps Minecraft servers understand where players come from and how promotional campaigns connect to retention and revenue. In short, Joinometry is a powerful tool that lets you see where players come from, which sources actually turn into revenue, and how much revenue you earn from your promotional campaigns.
Should I install the Paper, Velocity, or BungeeCord plugin?
Use Velocity for Velocity proxy networks, BungeeCord for BungeeCord or Waterfall proxy networks, and Paper if players connect directly to one standalone server. See Paper, Velocity, or BungeeCord: which plugin should I install?.
What is an entrypoint?
An entrypoint is the public proxy or standalone server players connect to first. If you do not use a proxy like Velocity or BungeeCord, then your server itself is the entrypoint. If you do use a proxy, then the proxy is the entrypoint.
What is a backend?
A backend is an internal server behind a proxy, such as Hub, Survival, or Prison. Running Joinometry on your Backend servers get you additional statistics like sessions and playtime.
Do archived campaigns count against campaign limits?
No. Active campaigns count toward campaign limits. Archived campaigns keep their history without counting towards your usage limits.
Can I change a campaign after creating it?
Yes, you can edit the campaign details after creating it.
Can I delete campaigns?
Only campaigns with no associated data can be deleted. Campaigns with history can only be archived, which means they still exist but are hidden and do not count towards your usage limits.
Can I track Tebex revenue automatically?
Yes. Automatically tracking revenue is one of the powerful tools Joinometry offers, as it lets you see where your revenue is coming from. Add the Tebex webhook secret in Joinometry, create a Tebex webhook endpoint, and enable the recommended payment, refund, and dispute events. You can learn how to do all of this with the <placeholder> guide.
Can I import older Tebex payments?
Yes. Use the Tebex CSV template on the Imports page, validate the file, then import the valid rows.
Why was a zero-value purchase skipped?
Zero-value purchases do not add revenue, so Joinometry skips them during CSV imports.
Why are credentials shown only once?
This is a safety measure put in place for the safety of the servers using Joinometry, as showing credentials once is safer. If you lose them, rotate credentials and paste the new values into the plugin config.
Can I invite someone to my team who has not signed up yet?
No. Team invites are sent only to existing verified Joinometry accounts. Ask them to create and verify an account first.
How does the referrals system work?
If somebody signs up with your referral link, then that account is forever referred by you. If an account you referred signs up for a paid plan, then you receive 20% commission on all payments they make within the first 12 months. Referral commissions are held for 30 days. After that period, you can request for the funds to be paid out if you meet the minimum threshold of $10. Payouts are handled manually.
What happens when I downgrade?
Downgrades are scheduled for the end of the current paid period. Review your usage before downgrading so you know which limits will apply.
Does deleting an organization cancel billing?
Deletion and billing are separate. Cancel billing from the Billing page, and delete organization data from privacy settings if needed.
