Troubleshoot missing events or heartbeat#

If a server is not showing activity, start with the heartbeat.

If there is no heartbeat#

Check:

  • the plugin is installed on the correct server,
  • the server was restarted after installation,
  • credentials were copied into the plugin config,
  • the server can reach Joinometry over HTTPS,
  • the server time is accurate,
  • the server is not archived,
  • you are viewing the right organization.

If heartbeat works but events are missing#

Check that players have joined after the plugin was installed. Older activity will not appear unless it was imported or sent after setup.

For proxy networks, make sure the plugin is installed on the entrypoint that players actually connect through.

If events show as failed#

Failed events usually mean Joinometry could not process the event cleanly. Check whether the player identity, hostname, server, or event type looks unusual. If failures continue, contact support with the server name and approximate time.

After fixing setup#

Restart the server and make one fresh test join. Then refresh Live activity and Overview.
