Create your first campaign
Create a campaign with a clear source, name, dates, spend, and status so Joinometry can organize your acquisition data.

Create your first campaign#
Campaigns are how Joinometry groups traffic from ads, creators, server lists, Discord posts, voting links, and other promotions.
What to create first#
Start with one real campaign that has a clear traffic source. Good examples:
- YouTube creator launch,
- July server list feature,
- Discord announcement,
- voting site promotion,
- TikTok ad test.
Important fields#
Use a campaign name your team will recognize later. Choose the source that best describes where players came from.
Add start and end dates if the campaign has a known run period. The end date cannot be before the start date.
If you know the spend, enter it in normal currency units, such as 25.00. Joinometry will use it for ROAS, CAC, and cost-per-payer metrics.
Campaign status#
- Active campaigns can receive new traffic.
- Paused campaigns stay visible but should not be treated as currently running.
- Archived campaigns keep history while keeping old campaigns out of the way.
Next step#
After creating the campaign, map the hostname players will use for that campaign. Without a hostname mapping, Joinometry can see traffic but may not know which campaign should receive credit.
